I defended my PhD, Mind and Object. An Essay on Intentionality, at the University of Fribourg in May 2017. It was supervised by Gianfranco Soldati and it gives an opinionated guided tour of the non-naturalistic accounts of the nature of intentionality. As an undergraduate, I studied philosophy and comparative literature at the Universities of Fribourg, Neuchâtel, Freie Universität Berlin, and Humboldt Universität Berlin.
I am now working as a post-doc FNS junior researcher as part of The Aesthetic Mind, an aesthetics research group based at the Universities of Fribourg and Göttingen, funded by the SNF, the DFG and the DAA.
I am currently working on a series of papers on the nature of fiction and its relation to imagination as well as a series of papers taken out of my dissertation on the nature of intentionality.
