The SwissSed Meeting is an open platform for the presentation of research results in the field of sedimentology stimulating dynamic discussions, new contacts and cooperation between sedimentologists.
The 25th SwissSed-meeting – taking place on February 25th – is approaching soon and we are really happy to announce the following invited keynote-speaker: Prof. Dr. Dick Kroon (University of Edinburgh). Within the spirit of ‘Bridging gaps and generations in Swiss Sedimentology’, he will give a TWIN-talk together with Stefanie Hayman (PhD fellow, University of Fribourg) on the results of ‘IODP Expedition 359: Maldives Monsoon and Sea Level‘.
Researchers and students are still warmly invited to submit abstracts for an oral and/or poster presentation. Detailed information regarding registration and abstract submission is available at the SwissSed website (http://www.swisssed.ch).
Looking forward meeting you on 25 February 2017 in Fribourg!
