C\u2019est donc l\u2019un des enjeux de l\u2019\u00e9cole maternelle et des premiers apprentissages avant la classe de CP.\u2028Ensuite, la compr\u00e9hension et la maitrise des relations phon\u00e8mes-graph\u00e8mes (une des difficult\u00e9s du fran\u00e7ais \u00e9crit) est, \u00e0 son tour, un pr\u00e9requis indispensable \u00e0 la progressive compr\u00e9hension de ce qui est lu et au contr\u00f4le progressif de l\u2019orthographe lexicale des mots.<\/p>\n<p>La relation entre langue orale et langue \u00e9crite est une difficult\u00e9 majeure du fran\u00e7ais parce qu\u2019un phon\u00e8me (un son de la langue orale) peut \u00eatre transcrit par plusieurs formes graphiques (= graph\u00e8mes), comme le phon\u00e8me \/S\/ qui peut s\u2019\u00e9crire <em>-s-<\/em>, <em>-ss-<\/em>, <em>-c-<\/em>, <em>-\u00e7-<\/em>, <em>-t-<\/em> selon le mot et le contexte. Inversement, un m\u00eame graph\u00e8me peut encoder plusieurs phon\u00e8mes selon le mot ou le contexte\u00a0; par exemple, la lettre <em>-t<\/em> dans le mot <em>attention<\/em>. S\u2018ajoute le fait qu\u2019il y a plus de phon\u00e8mes \u00e0 transcrire que de lettres de l\u2019alphabet, il faut donc plus de graph\u00e8mes que les 26 lettres disponibles. Pour cela, la langue \u00e9crite a recours \u00e0 des s\u00e9ries de deux (-<em>oi<\/em>, &#8211;<em>ou<\/em>, &#8211;<em>on<\/em>, \u2026) ou trois lettres (-<em>eau<\/em>) et utilise parfois des signes ajout\u00e9s (la c\u00e9dille, les accents) ou des lettres ajout\u00e9es (le &#8211;<em>e<\/em> dans nageoire) pour contourner certaines particularit\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-1978 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.unifr.ch\/create\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2022\/12\/read-aloud01.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"183\" height=\"183\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.unifr.ch\/create\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/read-aloud01.png 512w, https:\/\/blog.unifr.ch\/create\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/read-aloud01-150x150.png 150w, https:\/\/blog.unifr.ch\/create\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/read-aloud01-200x200.png 200w, https:\/\/blog.unifr.ch\/create\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/read-aloud01-400x400.png 400w, https:\/\/blog.unifr.ch\/create\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/read-aloud01-360x360.png 360w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 183px) 100vw, 183px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>La cons\u00e9quence est \u00e9vidente\u00a0: ce qui est un pr\u00e9requis indispensable est aussi un apprentissage tr\u00e8s complexe, couteux et long\u00a0! L\u2019enjeu est d\u2019importance pour la suite du cursus scolaire et pour l\u2019\u00e9quit\u00e9 d\u2019acc\u00e8s \u00e0 la langue d\u2019enseignement et aux apprentissages.<\/p>\n<p>Il existe diff\u00e9rentes activit\u00e9s permettant de travailler les relations phon\u00e8mes-graph\u00e8mes, souvent en appui sur des cartes repr\u00e9sentant les graph\u00e8mes qu\u2019il faut choisir (dict\u00e9e de phon\u00e8mes) ou utiliser pour construire des mots. L\u2019apprenant est alors fortement d\u00e9pendant de l\u2019adulte qui annonce les phon\u00e8mes ou les mots \u00e0 \u00e9crire, qui peut \u00e9tayer le travail et fournir explications, corrections et encouragements dans l\u2019interaction. Dit autrement, il est difficile d\u2019imaginer comment organiser l\u2019apprentissage des relations phon\u00e8mes-graph\u00e8mes en autonomie, au moins partielle. C\u2019est ce qu\u2019envisage le jeu Lil\u00e9m\u00f8.<\/p>\n<p>Lil\u00e9m\u00f8 est un jeu qui permet d\u2019oraliser une carte-mot (telle une consigne) et de lire des cubes-lettre(s) (graph\u00e8mes) qui vont progressivement permettre d\u2019\u00e9crire le mot demand\u00e9. On travaille donc les relations phon\u00e8mes-graph\u00e8mes puisqu\u2019il faut isoler les phon\u00e8mes du mot entendu (conscience phonologique) puis choisir les graph\u00e8mes qui vont correspondre pour lui donner sa forme \u00e9crite. \u00c0 chaque fois que l\u2019enfant pose un cube, Lil\u00e9m\u00f8 oralise le phon\u00e8me ou la syllabe cr\u00e9\u00e9e (s\u2019il s\u2019agit du 2e ou 3e cube, par exemple B\/A ou F\/R\/A, c\u2019est la syllabe compl\u00e8te qui est oralis\u00e9e), il y a donc un lien continu entre chaine \u00e9crite et chaine sonore. Lorsque l\u2019enfant pense avoir correctement \u00e9crit le mot, il le valide et re\u00e7oit \u00e9galement un retour du jeu (r\u00e9ussite ou erreur).<\/p>\n<p>Le jeu est donc pens\u00e9 comme une m\u00e9diation entre l\u2019enfant, l\u2019oral et l\u2019\u00e9crit. Il existe d\u00e9j\u00e0 diff\u00e9rentes ressources sur tablette qui permettent ce type de m\u00e9diation, cependant l\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eat que je vois dans Lil\u00e9m\u00f8 est celui de la mat\u00e9rialit\u00e9 des cubes-graph\u00e8mes. L\u2019enfant peut ajouter, enlever, d\u00e9placer un cube, par pr\u00e9hension et manipulation, et entendre directement le r\u00e9sultat de cette action sur la forme orale. Il y a donc un lien entre activit\u00e9 motrice et d\u00e9couverte de l\u2019\u00e9crit.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-1980 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.unifr.ch\/create\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2022\/12\/ereader.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"161\" height=\"161\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.unifr.ch\/create\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/ereader.png 512w, https:\/\/blog.unifr.ch\/create\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/ereader-150x150.png 150w, https:\/\/blog.unifr.ch\/create\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/ereader-200x200.png 200w, https:\/\/blog.unifr.ch\/create\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/ereader-400x400.png 400w, https:\/\/blog.unifr.ch\/create\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/ereader-360x360.png 360w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 161px) 100vw, 161px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Parce que l\u2019enfant est en interaction avec le jeu qui oralise les mots \u00e0 \u00e9crire (consigne) et les mots en cours de construction (t\u00e2che en cours), il y a la possibilit\u00e9 d\u2019activit\u00e9s d\u2019apprentissage des relations phon\u00e8mes-graph\u00e8mes en autonomie, sans pr\u00e9sence constante de l\u2019adulte. Le jeu devient le m\u00e9dia entre l\u2019enfant et la langue orale \/ \u00e9crite et c\u2019est une vraie innovation pour sortir des seuls exercices syst\u00e9matiques que l\u2019on peut trouver en ligne. L\u2019apprenant est engag\u00e9 dans une r\u00e9elle manipulation des graph\u00e8mes.
