Today , thursday 8th of December, the tectonics group team went for a visit to the Eclepens quarry. The objective was to discuss the tear fault tectonics and structural features observed along the Mormont-Eclepens Fault System. The quarry offers an exceptionnel opportunity to see a whole range of structural features and discuss the involved mechanisms.

Despite the cold weather and the foggy condition – the sun finally showed up in the afternoon – the team had a good time.
